Serbian Delegation Takes Part in PACE Autumn Session

The National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is taking part in the PACE Autumn Session in Strasbourg.

The delegation is headed by Biljana Pantic Pilja, and also includes Aleksandar Mirkovic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Elvira Kovacs, Vladimir Djordjevic, Djordje Stankovic and Jelena Milosevic.

The situation in Serbia was one of the topics discussed. Most of the delegation took part in the debate and shared their opinions on the current events and challenges. In addition to the five representatives of political groups, 18 MPs from Sweden, Germany, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the UK, Turkey, France and Hungary also registered for the debate.

The interruption of the debate due to the expiration of the time allotted to it was met with strong disapproval which caused a ten minute break in order to reach compromise and extended the allotted time to include additional three speakers.
