Security Services Control Committee Chairman Meets with Commissioner for Protection of Equality

The Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee Igor Becic met with the Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic.

The Commissioner for Protection of Equality informed the Security Services Control Committee Chairman about the Commissioner’s recent security recommendations which had been acted on.

The officials emphasized the importance of cooperation between the independent state bodies and the National Assembly committees in the exercise of legislative, supervisory and control function over the security sector. They also stressed the importance of timely exchange of information and the need to continue the existing cooperation so as to better the position of all the citizens of Serbia.
