Second Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th Legislature

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic convened the Second Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th legislature for Saturday, 26 December 2020, starting at 10 am.


The National Assembly adopted the following agenda:

  1. Ombudsman’s 2019 Regular Annual Report, submitted by the Ombudsman, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government of 16 December 2020 and Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of 17 December 2020;
  2. Report on the implementation of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance and the Law on Personal Data Protection in 2019, submitted by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government of 16 December 2020;
  3. Commissioner for Protection of Equality 2019 Regular Annual Report, submitted by the Commissioner for Protection of Equality, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of 17 December 2020, and
  4. State Audit Institution 2019 Activity Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 23 November 2020.
The reports are presented to the MPs by Ombudsman MA Zoran Pasalic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Milan Marinovic, Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic and the President of the State Audit Institution Council Dr Dusko Pejovic.

The National Assembly commenced a joint single debate on items 1 to 4 on the agenda.

The reports were presented to the MPs by Ombudsman MA Zoran Pasalic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Milan Marinovic, Commissioner for Protection of Equality Brankica Jankovic and the President of the State Audit Institution Council Dr Dusko Pejovic.

As the National Assembly had completed the joint single debate on items 1 to 4 on the agenda, the Chair, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic set Saturday, 26 December 2020, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda, starting at 7.10 pm.

On Voting Day, 26 December 2020, the National Assembly adopted the following reports:

  1. Ombudsman’s 2019 Regular Annual Report, submitted by the Ombudsman, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government of 16 December 2020 and Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of 17 December 2020;
  2. Report on the implementation of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance and the Law on Personal Data Protection in 2019, submitted by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government of 16 December 2020;
  3. Commissioner for Protection of Equality 2019 Regular Annual Report, submitted by the Commissioner for Protection of Equality, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality of 17 December 2020, and
  4. State Audit Institution 2019 Activity Report, submitted by the State Audit Institution, accompanied by the Conclusion Proposal of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending of 23 November 2020.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic concluded the Second Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 12th Legislature.
