Second Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 26 October 2020, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Dr Nebojsa Marjanovic, Jasmina Palurovic, Dalibor Radicevic, Milos Vucevic, Maja Gojkovic, Marija Obradovic, Branislav Nedimovic, Radomir Dmitrovic and Milan Krkobabic.

The Committee ascertained that these resignations fall within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ terms of office as stipulated by article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The Committee went on to grant Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic the authority to make undisputed decisions on the exercise of status and material rights of MPs and functionaries elected or appointed by the National Assembly.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sci.med. Darko Laketic, Mira Petrovic, Luka Kebara, Branimir Spasic, Miroslav Kondic, Ugljesa Markovic, Sanja Brankovic Jefic, Dijana Radovic, Dragana Barisic, Marina Ragus, Veroljub Matic, Adam Sukalo, Nebojsa Bakarec, Sandra Bozic and Ivana Nikolic.
