Second Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee
At the sitting held on 18 September, the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered, in principle, the Bill amending the Law on Waters, Bill amending the Law on Forests, Bill amending the Law on Livestock Breeding, Bill amending the Law on Wine and the Bill amending and modifying the Veterinary Medicine Law, submitted by the Government.
The representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management said that the amendments abolish certain fees which should lead toward an improvement in the business environment in the economy.
Following a short discussion in the course of which the Committee members were additionally informed about the impact of the proposed measures, the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee did not accept the Bill amending the Law on Waters, in principle.
By a majority of votes, the Committee accepted the Bill amending the Law on Forests, Bill amending the Law on Livestock Breeding, Bill amending the Law on Wine and the Bill amending and modifying the Veterinary Medicine Law, in principle.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dusan Petrovic.
