Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues
In the continuation of the ninth sitting on 14 April, the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues considered the amendments to the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons in detail.
In the continuation of the ninth sitting on 14 April, the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues considered the amendments to the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons in detail.
The sitting was chaired by Meho Omerovic, Committee Chairman.
Out of the 91 amendments, the Committee accepted three, which were also accepted by the Government, making them component part of the Bill. The Committee also accepted the amendment to article 43 paragraph 6 of the Bill, with modification of 14 April 2009, submitted by deputies Gordana Rajkov and Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic. The amendment allows the inclusion of mentally underdeveloped persons through engagement by an employer via a working centre, which they had so far been denied. The Government has not yet formed an opinion on this amendment.
The Committee also considered the Bill on Employment and Unemployment Insurance in detail. The Government did not accept a single one of the 249 submitted amendments, while deputy Milisav Petronijevic reserved his opinion on 10 amendments.
