Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office in National Assembly

Judges elected to office by High Judicial Council decision at the sessions of the High Judicial Council on 15 June and 28 September 2023, took the oath of office today before the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vasovic and National Assembly Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic.

By the text of the oath the newly-elected judges swore to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.

The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by the President of the High Judicial Council Zorana Delibasic.

The oath of office was taken by judges of the basic courts in Subotica, Sremska Mitrovica, Aleksinac, Brus, Kursumlija, Vranje, Mladenovac, Stara Pazova, Leskovac and Novi Sad, as well as judges of the misdemeanour courts in Ruma, Vranje, Obrenovac, Presevo, Novi Sad and Becej.
