National Assembly at Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of EU Parliaments
National Assembly Deputy Speaker and member of the European Integrations Committee Gordana Comic will take part in the 47th COSAC, Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union, held in Copenhagen from 22 to 24 April 2012, as part of Denmark’s presidency over the EU.
The Conference will focus on the 20 years of free movement for goods, people, services and capital, smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in Europe, the digital single market, single market for services and full implementation of the Services Directive, as well as sustainable growth and promotion of the transition to a resource efficient economy in Europe.
The 47th COSAC will gather more than 100 representatives of the parliaments of EU member states and candidate countries, as well as representatives of EU institutions, with the National Assembly taking part in the gathering for the first time after Serbia received candidate status.
