National Assembly Standing Delegation to CEI PD Takes Part in CEI Parliamentary Committee

The members of the standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the Central European Initiative Parliamentary Dimension Ana Miljanic and Branimir Jovanovic took part in the CEI Parliamentary Committee, in Tirana, on 30 June and 1 July 2024.

The topic of the meeting was "The role of the parliament in the supervision of the executive power in the process of European integration". After an exchange of opinions, the participants of the meeting adopted a Joint Statement focused on the importance and strengthening of the CEI in order to achieve progress in the expansion of the European Union, to the text of which the Serbian delegation lodged amendments.
