The Serbia-EU forum gathers the dignitaries from Serbia, the European Union and Western Balkans region. The main topics of the forum are knowledge economy, sustainable development, social inclusion and fight against organised crime, corruption and illegal migration.

The Forum was opened by Boris Tadic, President of the Republic of Serbia and Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council. In the inaugural part the gathering was addressed by Mirko Cvetkovic, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Republic of Serbia; Bozidar Djelic, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and Martin Schulz, Chair of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament.
