National Assembly Speaker at Day of Remembrance of Serbian Victims in WWII

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic laid a wreath at the Monument to the Shot Students and Professors in the "October in Kragujevac" Memorial Park in Sumarice, to commemorate of the Day of Remembrance of the Serbian victims of the Second World War in 1941.

In addition to the National Assembly Speaker, wreaths were also laid by the students of the First Grammar School of Kragujevac, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, the envoy of the President of the Republic of Serbia Milorad Veljovic, representatives of the City of Kragujevac, numerous associations and the diplomatic corps.

Before laying the wreaths, His Eminence Bishop Jovan of Sumadija offered a prayer to the new martyrs of Kragujevac, followed by the traditional event "The Great School Class".
