National Assembly Speaker Visits US Congress
In the course of her official visit to the US, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic met with member of Congress and until recently Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

Djukic-Dejanovic thanked the US Government for the support in the realisation of the idea of the Women’s Leadership Network. She stressed that women are a resource to reckon with, adding in that context that in the current convocation the National Assembly adopted a Gender Equality Law, Anti-Discrimination Law and Law amending and modifying the Law on the Election of Deputies.
