National Assembly Speaker Sends Telegram of Condolences to Speaker of National Assembly of Republic of Srpska

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska Nedeljko Cubrilovic and condemned the attack on the police station in Zvornik:


“It is with great sadness and shock that we received the news of the incident in Zvornik, which we condemn most severely. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, I extend our deepest condolences for the victims of the tragic attack.

The Republic of Serbia is firmly committed to the right to life, peace and stability and we express full solidarity in the defence of these values against extremism, assured that the strength of tolerance will prevail over senseless violence.

Please accept our friendly support in this difficult moment and convey our deepest sympathies to the family of the tragically deceased police officer, hoping that the two wounded policemen will soon recover.”
