National Assembly Speaker Receives Winners of BANJA 2011 Festival
The natural beauty of Vrnjacka Banja and the Popular Music Festival that cultivates musical qualities are a wonderful way to present our country, said National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic who received the participants, winners and representatives of the directorate of the BANJA 2011 Danube Insurance Popular Music Festival, at the National Assembly House earlier today.
The natural beauty of Vrnjacka Banja and the Popular Music Festival that cultivates musical qualities are a wonderful way to present our country, said National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic who received the participants, winners and representatives of the directorate of the BANJA 2011 Danube Insurance Popular Music Festival, at the National Assembly House earlier today.
The director and founder of the festival Dragan Alempijevic said that the Vrnjacka Banja Festival has been taking place for six years now and is one of the few which have managed to survive and is well established in both Serbia and the region in the sphere of popular music and promotion of young authors.
Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic thanked the guests for their visit and presents – Merima Njegomir’s CD of Russian songs and a Bojan Marovic CD. The participants of the Vrnjacka Banja Festival Zeljko Vasic, Merima Njegomir and Bojan Marovic thanked the National Assembly Speaker for her support of the festival which is very important for the promotion of real musical values.
