National Assembly Speaker Receives Korean Ambassador in Farewell Visit

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic received the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Jaewoong Lee in farewell visit.

Speaker Brnabic said that it had been an honour to cooperate with the Ambassador and to have had the opportunity to visit the Republic of Korea. She thanked the Ambassador for his contribution to the enhancement of bilateral relations and wished him success in his new duties.

The officials also discussed the strengthening of parliamentary dialogue, emphasising the importance of the imminent formation of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Korea through which the advancement of relations is to continue.

Speaker Brnabic stressed how pleased she was with the dynamic development of economic cooperation between the two countries and also highlighted the rising interest for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and biotechnologies.

The Ambassador said it was a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with Speaker Brnabic, stressing that he would continue to promote and advance cooperation between the two countries.

The two officials confirmed the importance of continuing to intensify political dialogue and strengthen economic relations.
