National Assembly Speaker Meets with Head of OSCE Mission to Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met today with the Head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia Jan Braathu.

Speaker Brnabic thanked Braathu for the exceptional cooperation during his mandate and congratulated him on being appointed OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media. She stressed that Serbia remains committed to close cooperation with the OSCE, especially in the area of promoting peace and stability.

Jan Braathu said that significant results were achieved by working together and thanked Serbia for its support and openness during his mandate. He added that the OSCE Mission to Serbia remains in good hands and that the cooperation with the National Assembly would be continued to mutual benefit.

Brnabic expressed her belief that in his new post Jan Braathu would continue to contribute to the OSCE’s noteworthy goals and advancement of media freedom in its members.
