National Assembly Speaker Meets with Dutch Ambassador to Serbia
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Joost Reintjes.
Ambassador Reintjes agreed that economic cooperation is developing fast, reminding the host that in 2019 the Netherlands was number one in the amount of direct foreign investments into Serbia, with over 500 Dutch companies doing business in Serbia at present. He agreed that strengthening cooperation between the Serbian and Dutch parliaments is something the two countries should work on.
Responding to the Ambassador’s questions, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic briefed the guest on the National Assembly’s activities, particularly those concerning the Constitutional amendments and the coming referendum scheduled for 16 January 2022.
