National Assembly Speaker Meets with Belgian Chamber of Representatives Speaker

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met with the Speaker of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium, Peter de Roover.

Brnabic pointed out that the meeting was very meaningful and open and a confirmation of mutual interest in intensifying and deepening the parliamentary dialogue, after the constitution of the new legislatures of the representative bodies.

"We want even closer and better relations with Belgium and our mutual parliamentary cooperation will certainly contribute to that," said Brnabic.

She said hat membership in the European Union remains Serbia's strategic foreign policy goal and thanked Belgium for its support on our country European path.

"I invited Mr. Roover to visit Belgrade, which he accepted with pleasure, and I hope that we will meet again soon in Serbia!", Brnabic said.
