National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with French Parliament Member

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with member of the French Parliament Liliana Tangui, currently in official visit to Serbia.

The National Assembly Speaker stressed that the cooperation between Serbia and France is wide-ranging and comprehensive, as evidenced by the intense high-level political dialogue.

The officials discussed the upcoming elections in Serbia and France and the continuation of the cooperation between the two parliaments after their completion. MP Tangui conveyed the interest to strengthen the parliamentary cooperation through twinning and TAIEX programmes and EU projects.

MP Tangui reminded the host that she would be following the upcoming elections in Serbia as member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe observation mission.
