National Assembly Speaker Convenes Tenth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Tenth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015, for Monday, 21 December 2015, starting at 10 am.


The agenda for the sitting will contain the candidate lists for the election of Prosecutor for Organised Crime and Prosecutor for War Crimes, submitted by the Serbian Government.

The MPs will also be deliberating on the decision proposals for the election of public prosecutors at the higher prosecutor’s offices in Belgrade, Leskovac, Novi Pazar, Negotin, Cacak, Prokuplje, Vranje, Nis, Valjevo, Smederevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Subotica, Sombor, Zrenjanin, Sabac, Kragujevac, Krusevac, Kraljevo and Jagodina, submitted by the Serbian Government.

The agenda also contains the decision proposals for the election of public prosecutors at the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, Second Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade and Third Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade, as well as the proposals for the election of public prosecutors at the basic prosecutor’s offices in Kragujevac, Pozega, Lebane, Raska, Obrenovac, Lazarevac, Vladicin Han, Veliko Gradiste, Pozarevac, Uzice, Ub, Gornji Milanovac, Smederevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Vrsac, Novi Sad, Subotica, Backa Palanka, Senta, Becej, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Arandjelovac, Jagodina, Trstenik, Kraljevo, Cacak, Krusevac and Paracin.

The National Assembly Speaker also proposed that the MPs should discuss the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Taxes on Using, Holding and Carrying Goods, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Capital Market, Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Compulsory Social Insurance Contributions.

The MPs will also be deliberating on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees, Bill on Assumption of Obligations of Public Enterprise Srbijagas Novi Sad toward Petroleum Industry of Serbia JSC Novi Sad and Transformation of Said Obligations into the Public Debt of the Republic of Serbia, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Improving Competitiveness and Employment Project) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Societe Generale Bank Serbia JSC Belgrade to Settle the Obligations of Public Enterprise Srbijagas Novi Sad under the Long-Term Loan Contract for the Construction of Distribution Gas Pipeline Aleksandrovac – Brus – Kopaonik – Raska - Novi Pazar - Tutin, as well as the Bill on Cooperatives, Bill on Chambers of Commerce, Bill on Central Register of the Temporary Limitations of Rights of Persons Registered at the Business Registers Agency, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Privatisation, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Right to Free Shares and Financial Compensation to the Citizens in the Privatisation Process, Bill on Recovery after Natural and Other Disasters, Bill on Temporary Regulation of Payment of Fees for the Public Media Service, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Scientific Research Activity, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Agricultural Land, and the Bill on Soil Protection, submitted by the Government.

The sitting will be held at the Grand Hall of the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Belgrade, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
