National Assembly Speaker Congratulates International Women’s Day

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic congratulated International Women’s Day:

"I would like to congratulate International Women's Day, 8 March to all the ladies

Marking this date is an opportunity to remember the long path women have travelled in their struggle for rights, equality, economic, political and social equality. We follow that path today, expressing gratitude and respect to every woman every step of the way.

I would like to thank you immensely for the dedication and responsibility with which you protect your country and its stability. Know that, because of you and with you, Serbia is certainly moving forward - even faster and even stronger.

Happy March 8 and may every day be yours!"
