National Assembly Speaker Attends Commemorative Gathering and Signs Book of Condolences for Late Milan Milutinovic

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic attended the commemorative gathering in the National Assembly House for the late former President of the Republic of Serbia Milan Milutinovic.

The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic, as well as Veljko Milutinovic, son of Milan Milutinovic, addressed the commemorative gathering.

Along with family and friends, the commemoration was attended by members of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, members of the National Assembly, representatives of the City of Belgrade and the diplomatic corps.

After the commemorative meeting, Dr Orlic signed the Book of Condolences that was opened in the National Assembly House, saying: "The Republic of Serbia bids farewell to its former president, a dedicated fighter for the interests of the Motherland, which he served with dedication and dignity, led in a particularly difficult time. On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, allow me to express my deepest condolences to the family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with Milan Milutinovic. Eternal glory", said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
