National Assembly Recovers One More Piece of Furniture Removed on 5 October 2000

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic would like to thank the Serbian citizens who responded to the appeal to return the furniture, paintings, artwork and any other property of the National Assembly which disappeared in the events of 5 October 2000.


Thanks to the citizens who responded to the National Assembly’s appeal another piece of furniture was recovered from Sokobanja, bearing the Parliament’s registration number.

We would like to take this opportunity to again appeal to the citizens with any information on the whereabouts of the artwork or any other artefacts belongings to the Serbian Parliament to call in.
