National Assembly Hosts Student Parliament Session as Part of Children’s Week
As part of Children’s Week, the National Assembly hosted a student parliaments’ session, organized by the Friends of Children of Serbia, entitled “Action! Intergenerational friendships – my contribution”.
The session was also attended by Nada Lazic, member of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, as well as Iva Erakovic of the Friends of the Children of Serbia, Doloris Askovic of the Union of High-Schoolers of Serbia and Marija Bulat of the Regional Youth Office who spoke about intergenerational solidarity and friendship.
Children’s Week is an event organized traditionally with the support and patronage of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the realization of which is assisted by government institutions, civic organizations and associations, and many prominent individuals dedicated to children.
This year’s Children’s Week, organized in the year dedicated to intergenerational solidarity at the national level, provides the opportunity to encourage the creation of conditions conducive to intergenerational understanding and cooperation.
