National Assembly Delegation Successfully Completes Visit to Qatar

The five-member delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia comprising members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Qatar and headed by MP Muamer Zukorlic successfully completed its two-day visit to the State of Qatar.

In a general atmosphere of friendly relations which both sides are eager to promote the delegation met with the leadership of the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Telecommunication, Chamber of Commerce and Al Jazeera TV, coming to a complete agreement on a cooperation which is to lead to some concrete steps and projects in the sphere of economy, education, culture, media, security, etc.

In the course of the visit to the Museum of Islamic Art and the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum the delegation learned how this small country managed to in just a few decades become an internationally relevant factor in the sphere of culture, economy and international relations.
