MP Vladimir Marinkovic Opens Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce First Working Assembly

Today, at the National Assembly House, MP and member of the Executive Board of the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce (GSCC), Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic, opened the First Working Assembly of the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce.


On the occasion, Marinkovic stressed that the organisation should become the leader in the South East Europe region in the fields of energy, green building, sustainable agriculture and environmental protection. Marinkovic also pointed out that the National Assembly is ready to cooperate with the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce to achieve a favourable environment for all entrepreneurs in Serbia, and those involved in green economy in particular.
The Working Assembly of the GSCC was also addressed by the City Secretary for Environmental Protection, Goran Trivan and the Chairman of the Business Council of South East Europe and Turkey (DEIK), Sadullah Sipahioglu.
The President of the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce, Sasa Mihajlovic presented the GSCC plan, programme and development strategy, while the GSCC Deputy President Ilija Djordjevic presented the organisation’s planned activities as regards foreign cooperation.
At its First Working Assembly, the GSCC adopted the GSCC Rulebook, as well as the GSCC Executive Board Rules of Procedure and GSCC Oversight Committee Rules of Procedure. It also adopted a Decision of the Creation of GSCC Relevant Committees, Decision on the Foundation of the GSCC Regional Centre and the Rulebook on the Organisation of the GSCC Regional Centre. At the Working Assembly, the GSCC also adopted the Decision on the Nomination of Candidates for Chairpersons of the Relevant Committees and Regional Centres and the Relevant Committees’ Plan and Programme.
The proposal that MP Ivan Karic should be the Vice President of the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce was unanimously adopted.
After the First Working Assembly, MP and member of the Executive Board of the Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce, Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic held a press conference in the Central Hall of the National Assembly House.
The Green Serbia Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, interest, independent and business expert organisation of all green economy subjects, founded in April 2013 to pursue goals in the spheres of energy production, environmental protection, green building and sustainable agriculture.
