Lecture Held on Water Management, Especially Waste Water Management – Situation and Problems

The Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence organised a meeting and lecture entitled Water Management, Especially Waste Water Management – Situation and Problems, for the members of the informal Green Parliamentary Group at the National Assembly Building.

The lecture, intended for the MPs, members of the informal Green Parliamentary Group and the Environmental Protection Committee, was delivered by Dr Bozo Dalmacija, tenured professor at the Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences. Prof. Dr Dalmacija focused on how to ensure the availability of water to the general populace and sustainable management of water sources, mentioning that the mere presence of water does not constitute a water resource.

In the ensuing debate, the participants exchanged opinions and experiences gained in their day-to-day work. The lecture was attended by numerous MPs and representatives of the civil sector.
