Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 29 June, the Legislative Committee considered the Bills submitted by the Government and included in the agenda for the Fifth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly.


The Committee considered the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Ваnса Intesa АD Belgrade, Societe General Serbia a.d. Belgrade, Нуро-Аlре-Аdriа Ваnk a.d. Belgrade, Erste Ваnk a.d. Novi Sad, Commercial Bank a.d. Belgrade and Unicredit Bank Serbia a.d. Belgrade under the debt of Srbijagas Public Enterprise Novi Sad, as well as seven Bills on the confirmation of international agreements: the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania regulating the debt of the Republic of Albania toward the Republic of Serbia, on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain on cooperation in the field of fighting against crime, on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on visa abolition for diplomatic and official passport holders, on the Confirmation of the Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Kuwait, on the Confirmation of the Agreement on Cooperation in the field of culture, higher education, scientific research, education, expert training, communications, youth and sport between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of education, culture and sport and on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation on information security and Code of practice.

The Legislative Committee unanimously decided to inform the National Assembly that the submitted Bills comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee went on to complete a debate on the Proposal of the Decision on the organisation and work of the National Assembly Service, submitted by the Administrative Committee, but did not vote on it as it lacked a decision-making quorum.

The sitting was chaired by Vlatko Ratkovic, Committee Chairman.
