Hundred and Tenth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 3 March, the Legislative Committee considered the Constitutional Court’s Request for a response to the initiatives to estimate the constitutionality and compliance with ratified international treaties of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Judges.



At the sitting held on 3 March, the Legislative Committee considered the Constitutional Court’s Request for a response to the initiatives to estimate the constitutionality and compliance with ratified international treaties of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Judges.

By a majority of votes, The Committee members ruled that the Legislative Committee should inform the Constitutional Court, compliant with the Government’s opinion, that the disputed provisions of the Law amending and modifying the Law on Judges do not contradict the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and ratified international treaties.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vlatko Ratkovic.
