Ambassador Bozay informed PFG Head Zoran Babic about the successful business dealings of Turkish companies in Serbia, future projects in the field of textile, tourism and hotel business, as well as development of road transport, highlighting the importance of the planned cooperation in the field of banking services i.e. the loans for the Serbian economy.

PFG Head Zoran Babic thanked the Turkish Ambassador for his personal efforts on improving the two countries’ political and economic relations. He said he was very pleased with the investments of Turkish companies into the Serbian market and assured Ambassador Bozay that the Turkish investments in Serbia are secure and welcome. The good investment environment is the result of the Serbian Government’s reform policies, said Babic, opining that Serbia is a good place to invest in, as the Turkish companies have recognised.

Zoran Babic stressed that the adoption of reform laws by the National Assembly, such as the laws on planning and construction, privatisation and bankruptcy, contributes to the improved economic environment.

Speaking of regional cooperation, Zoran Babic stated that Serbia strives to develop good bilateral relations, especially with the countries in the region, and is committed to build stable institutions and secure better living conditions for its citizens.

The officials hope that 2015 would prove even better for both the bilateral and economic cooperation of the two countries.
