Head of National Assembly Parliamentary Friendship Group with Indonesia Talks to Representatives of Indonesian Embassy in Belgrade

The Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Indonesia Meho Omerovic met today with the Political Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Belgrade Mr. Zamardi and Joseph Arjono, officer of the Embassy’s Political Department.


In the course of the meeting, the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Indonesia spoke about Serbia’s key views regarding Kosovo-Metohija, explaining the country’s position on the current events in Kosovo-Metohija.

 

The meeting with the representatives of the Indonesian Embassy was held in relation with the upcoming visit of a delegation of the National Security Council of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Serbia, from 12 to 15 December 2011, in the context of the Indonesian Government’s efforts to gather as much information as possible on the various issues relating to the threat to the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 

In the course of its visit to the Republic of Serbia, the delegation of the Indonesian National Security Council will meet with the members of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Indonesia, on 14 December 2011.
