Gojkovic with Ambassador Markotic
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia received Croatian Ambassador Gordan Markotic today in a farewell visit.
Gojkovic thanked the Ambassador for the cooperation and his personal contribution to the development of relations between Serbia and Croatia.
Gojkovic and Ambassador Markotic spoke of both countries’ common interest in developing parliamentary cooperation at highest level, as well as between friendship groups, in view of the important role parliamentary cooperation plays in the development of overall relations.
The National Assembly Speaker and Ambassador Markotic agreed that dialogue is key to the development of relations between Serbia and Croatia, highlighting the importance of intensifying the work of mixed commissions dedicated to outstanding issues.
The National Assembly Speaker wished Ambassador Markotic success in future diplomatic endeavours.
