The telegram states:

“We were deeply saddened by the news of the plane crash which claimed so many lives. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, please allow me to extend our most sincere condolences to you, the members of Parliament and the people of the Russian Federation. It is difficult to find words of comfort in this difficult time but I am sure you will find the strength and offer support to those who had lost their nearest and dearest. Please convey my deepest condolences to the families of the victims.”
