Gojkovic Condemns Attack on TV Pink Journalists

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Chairperson of the Culture and Information Committee Maja Gojkovic condemns the attack on TV Pink journalists Gordana Uzelac and Mara Dragovic who were just doing their job.

“I most severely condemn the brutal attack on the journalists, women who were just doing their job. This is unacceptable and deserves condemnation. I expect the authorities to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the brutal attack and sanction the perpetrators in line with the law.

It is unacceptable that the MPs of Dveri Parliamentary Group, who are the loudest would-be champions of the freedom of the media and traditional values are the organizers of the protest which resulted in an attack on women. I would like to ask Bosko Obradovic and Milan Stamatovic whether conflicts, stones, fists and beatings are the family values they falsely represent. Today they have shown their real face and vision for Serbia.”
