Gojkovic Calls Elections in Four Local Self-Governments

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic passed the decision to call an election for councillors in the municipal assemblies of Presevo, Mionica, Negotin and Pecinci for 24 December 2017, pursuant to the Law on Local Elections and the Law on Local Self-Government.

The decision to call the local elections shall come into force on the day it is published in the Official Gazette, which also sets in motion the deadline for the electoral activities.

As stipulated by the Law on Local Elections, the elections in Presevo, Mionica, Negotin and Pecinci will reside in the purview of the bodies for the conduct of elections.
