First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011 Convened

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010, for Wednesday, 2 March 2011, starting at 10 a.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2010, for Wednesday, 2 March 2011, starting at 10 a.m.

The agenda for the sitting contains the following: the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction, Bill on Social Welfare, Bill on Sports, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the 2011 Census of Population, Households and Dwellings, Bill on the 2011 Agricultural Census, Proposal of the Decision on the Official Statistics Programme for 2011-2015, Bill amending and modifying the Property Tax Law and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Tax Payable on the Use, Keeping and Carrying Goods.

In addition, the following will also be discussed at the sitting: the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank a.d. Belgrade under the debt of the Municipalities of Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan and Zubin Potok and the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia to KfW German Financial Institution under the debt of Public Enterprise Serbian Electric Power Industry (Zvornik Hydroelectric Plant rehabilitation project).

The National Assembly will also consider several Bills on the confirmation of international treaties and agreements: the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Serbia and the National Bank of Serbia, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Montenegro on mutual assistance in customs matters, Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Government of the Republic of Serbia, Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Government of the Republic of Croatia and Government of Montenegro regulating the debt of the Republic of Albania under the accounts related to the trade between the Republic of Albania and the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

The sitting will also deal with: the Bill on the Confirmation of the Third Additional Protocol to the European Convention on Extradition, Bill on the Confirmation of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Forced Disappearance, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro amending and modifying the Extradition Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia on extradition and acceptance of persons of illegal entry or residence with Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia extradition and acceptance of persons of illegal entry or residence, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia regulating border traffic regime, Bill on the Confirmation of the Police Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya on visa abolition for bearers of diplomatic, official and special passports, Bill on the Confirmation of the Final Acts of the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-07) and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Veterinary Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The agenda also contains the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of President, Vice President and Members of the Board of Directors of the Republic Agency for Electronic Communication and Candidate Lists for President and Members of the Fiscal Council, submitted by the authorised submitters - the President of the Republic, Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and Minister of Finance, as well as the Candidate List for the Election of Republic Broadcasting Council Member from the ranks of the Conference of Universities of Serbia, established by the National Assembly’s Culture and Information Committee and Nominations for Anti-Corruption Agency Committee Member.

The sitting will be held at the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
