First Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee

The Environmental Protection Committee held its first sitting on 9 May 2014. The sitting was convened by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, as stipulated in article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.


Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Momo Colakovic from the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Parliamentary Group.

The Committee members unanimously elected MP Branislav Blazic, from Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman and MP Ivan Karic, from the Boris Tadic – New Democratic Party, Together for Serbia, Greens of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairman.
