First Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee
The Culture and Information Committee held its first sitting on 31 October 2012. The sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, in line with article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Prof. Dr Zarko Korac.
By a majority of votes, the Committee members elected MP Vesna Marjanovic, from the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, and MP Marija Obradovic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
