First Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

The Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality held its first sitting on 12 May 2014. The sitting was convened by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, as stipulated in article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.


Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Vera Paunovic from the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Parliamentary Group.

The Committee members elected MP Meho Omerovic, from the Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman and Ljiljana Milusic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
