First Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
The Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues held its first sitting on 24 July 2012. As stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the sitting was convened by National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP from the United Serbia Parliamentary Group, Petar Petrovic.
The Committee members unanimously elected Member of Parliament MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, and Member of Parliament Srdjan Mikovic, from the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairman.
