MP Milorad Stosic, from the PUPS Parliamentary Group, who represents the City of Nis as well as the Nisava, Toplica and Pirot District, invited the MPs of these three districts to take part in the work of the Parliamentary Constituency Office so that they could together contribute to the promotion and pursuit of the interests of the citizens of Nis and south-eastern Serbia at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The office is envisaged as a place where the citizens can share their opinions on certain issues and civic initiatives in direct communication with the MPs. Such communication aims to promote and develop cooperation between the MPs and citizens.
The Parliamentary Constituency Office will be open every day from 9 am to 1 pm. MP Milorad Stosic will be engaged at the Constituency Office at least once a week, depending on his duties at the National Assembly and assembly bodies.
The ceremonial opening of the Parliamentary Constituency Office was also attended by MP Dusan Milosavljevic, PUPS Executive Board President Dragi Vidojevic, Nis City Council member – Mayor’s envoy Branislav Randjelovic, Medijana Municipal Assembly President Momcilo Radojicic and other representatives of the legislative and executive power of the city of Nis, as well as interested citizens.
The Constituency Office was opened in cooperation with the Nis Third Age Movement which allowed the use of part of its office space for the Constituency Office’s work, National Democratic Institute (NDI), which provided the office equipment (computer, printer, fax, software, etc.) and PUPS Youth Staff, which provided ten volunteers.
