First Meeting of the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process

The first meeting of the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process was held today in the National Assembly.


Nemanja Nenadic, Programme Director of Transparency Serbia, was elected Chairman of the Working Group.

He announced that the next meeting of the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process will be held on 7 May 2024, by which time its members can submit their proposals.

The Working Group is composed of two representatives, a member and substitute member, of each parliamentary group in the National Assembly, every national minority political party which does not have a parliamentary group in the National Assembly and civil society organisations, associations CRTA, Centre for Free Elections and Democracy and Transparency Serbia.

The formation of this Working Group is a direct result of the parliamentary dialogue initiated by Speaker of Parliament Ana Brnabic.

The meeting was attended by Ugljesa Mrdic, Ugljesa Markovic, Marko Milosevic, Zlata Jusufovic, Filip Tatalovic, Ana Krstic, Luka Pusic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic, Zagorka Aleksic, Danijela Nestorovic, Djordje Komlenski, Edin Numanovic, Ahmedin Skrijelj, Pavle Dimitrijevic, Vladana Jarakovic, Bojan Klacar, Robert Sepi and Risto Kostov.
