The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Paja Momcilov and attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Elizabet Paunovic and an associate, and representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Republic Health Insurance Fund and the President of the Health Council of Serbia Prof. Dr Dragan Delic.

The members of the Committee on Health and the Family considered, within their scope, the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2011 Budget Law, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to the decisions amending and modifying the financial plans for 2011 of:

1) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance,

2) the Republic Institute for Health Insurance,

3) the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.

The representatives of the ministries of health and finance and the Republic Health Insurance Fund elaborated the Bill amending and modifying the Budget Law and took part in the Committee’s work responding to questions the Committee members asked regarding the proposed amendments and modifications to the budgetary funds for the field of health care for 2011.

By a majority of votes, the Committee on Health and the Family accepted the reviewed Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2011 Budget Law, in principle. The Committee elected Dr Djura Mucenski, Committee member, for its rapporteur.
