Igor Becic, Chairman of the Security Services Control Committee, agreed that the state of security in the Republic of Serbia is stable, although in the previous period there certain challenges, risks and threats to security gained intensity due to global political, security and economic changes, caused primarily by the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Becic pointed out that the situation in Kosovo-Metohija has the potential to be a source of instability for the entire region, not only the Republic of Serbia, and that it is clear that the firm commitment of President Aleksandar Vucic and the Government of the Republic of Serbia to continue the negotiations is an effort to maintain peace and stability .

The Committee members evaluated the reports of the Security Information Agency positively, stating that in the reporting period the Security Information Agency had implemented all the planned and extraordinary tasks within its purview as prescribed by law. The Committee members endorsed the work of the Agency and its members, pointing out that in the future they expected the Agency members to carry out their tasks and duties selflessly and professionally to preserve the country's constitutional order.

The continuous improvement of bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the state authorities of the Republic of Serbia, as well as with related partner services, was welcomed. It was assessed that this type of cooperation contributes to finding the most effective ways to confront current security challenges, both regionally and globally.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman MA Igor Becic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandar Mirkovic, Nevena Djuric, Nenad Tomasevic, Nikola Dragicevic, Aleksandar Markovic, Darko Jovanovic and Ugljesa Markovic.
