Fifth Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 17 October, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region discussed the Information on the activities and plans of the Assembly of the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and how to address the expiration of the terms of office of the delegates of the Assembly of the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
Following a short debate, the Committee members adopted a Conclusion on the first item on the agenda.
The Committee members also reviewed the Information on the failure to set up a Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region. The Committee members discussed the process of establishment of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region with Zeljko Krajnovic of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
After the discussion was completed, the Committee members adopted a Conclusion on the item on the agenda.
The Committee members then proceeded to appoint delegation members for the Committee’s upcoming visits.
The sitting was chaired by Dr Janko Veselinovic, Committee Chairman.
