Fifth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 2 August, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues discussed the Decision of the Republic Electoral Commission of 30 July on the allocation of MPs’ terms of office for the purpose of filling vacant seats at the National Assembly


The Committee ascertained that from the CHOICE FOR BETTER LIFE - BORIS TADIC Electoral List terms of office had been allocated to Branka Karavidic, Sinisa Lazic and Ivan Bauer, from the IVICA DACIC - SOCIALIST PARTY OF SERBIA (SPS), PARTY OF UNITED PENSIONERS OF SERBIA (PUPS), UNITED SERBIA (US) Electoral List terms of office had been allocated to Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic, Slavoljub Vlajkovic, Zoran Radovanovic, Borisav Kovacevic and Bojana Krkic, from the UNITED REGIONS OF SERBIA – MLADJAN DINKIC Electoral List terms of office had been allocated to Miroslav Cuckovic, Ana Novakovic and Vladimir Ilic, and from the LET'S GET SERBIA MOVING - TOMISLAV NIKOLIC Electoral List to Nevena Adzemovic, Pavle Markov, Jasmina Obradovic and Prim. Dr Ninoslav Giric.
The Committee proposed that the National Assembly should verify the terms of office of the newly-elected MPs.
The Committee noted the resignation of MP Ivica Kojic to the post of Member of Parliament.
The Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues authorised the Committee Chairperson do make incontrovertible decisions on the exercise of material rights of MPs and functionaries appointed and elected by the National Assembly (rights by law and other regulations) and verified several decrees adopted by the National Assembly Secretary General in line with article 64, paragraph 4 of the Law on the National Assembly.
At the sitting, the Committee considered the requests to realise the right to receive pay up to six months after the termination of the term of office as an MP submitted by: Filip Stojanovic, Miroslav Martic, Momir Markovic, Vesna Maric, Milena Milosevic, Svetlana Stojanovic, Bozidar Delic, Djuro Peric, Nikola Krpic, Gordana Rajkov, Branimir Djokic, Jon Magda and Sinisa Stamenkovic and the appeal of Jovan Damjanovic for an extension of the right to receive pay after the termination of the term of office as an MP.
The Committee did not accept said requests listing as reason that these persons have the right to receive pay on other legal bases. Regarding the same request by former MP Gordana Rajkov, the Committee concluded that it would debate it at the next sitting, having ascertained whether Gordana Rajkov was eligible for family pension.
The Committee members approved the requests of MPs Natasa Micic, Kenan Hajdarevic and Ljubica Milosevic for the payment of a monthly compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade, as well as those by MPs Zivojin Stankovic and Miodrag Stojkovic, once they have submitted the necessary documentation. They also approved the requests of MPs Gerov Radmila and Emir Elfic to exercise their right o apartment lease in Belgrade and compensation for living separately from their family.
At the sitting, the Committee ascertained the termination of duty as assistant secretary general – General Affairs Sector Chief, by operation of law, to Milivoje Vicentijevic and established the list for the issuance of parking stickers A-I and A-II.
The sitting was chaired by Jorgovanka Tabakovic, Committee Chairperson.
