Fifteenth Sitting of the Education Committee

At the sitting held on 24 July, the Education Committee considered the Bill on the Bases of the System of Education and Upbringing and the Bill on Textbooks and Other Teaching Aids in detail.



At the sitting held on 24 July, the Education Committee considered the Bill on the Bases of the System of Education and Upbringing and the Bill on Textbooks and Other Teaching Aids in detail.

The Committee considered 201 amendments to the Bill on the Bases of the System of Education and Upbringing and accepted about 50, as those amendments had been accepted by the Government as well. Several amendments which shall in further procedure be considered as the Committee’s amendments, have also been adopted at the sitting.

The Committee did not accept the amendments rejected by the Government.

Out of the 40 amendments submitted to the Bill on Textbooks and Other Teaching Aids, the Government accepted 11, which were also accepted by the Committee.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Dr Zoran Sami.
