Vladimir Orlic welcomed the students and briefed them on the role of the National Assembly in the Serbia-EU talks, stressing that the opening of chapters 23 and 24 was a big leap forward for Serbia.

He went on to inform the students of the European Integration School about the work of the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee and the European Integration Committee, emphasising the very important role this Committee plays in reviewing negotiation positions. He also announced the imminently expected opening of chapters 25 and 26. In addition, he explained the negotiation process on Chapter 31 – Foreign, security and defence policy.

Orlic informed the students of the European Integration School that the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee will be meeting with European parliamentarians next week, on 22 and 23 September.
