European Integration Committee Delegation to Take Part in COSAC Meeting Under Auspices of Spanish EU Council Presidency

European Integration Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs and Deputy Chairperson Dubravka Filipovski will be taking part in the meeting of the Chairpersons of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC), held under the auspices of the parliamentary dimension of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on 17 and 18 September 2023 in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain.

The Spanish Presidency of the EU has set four priorities: reindustrialising the EU and ensuring its open strategic autonomy, making progress on ecological transition and environmental adaptation, promoting greater social and economic justice and strengthening European unity.

The COSAC meeting in Madrid will gather the chairpersons of the European affairs committees of the EU Member States, candidate states and potential candidates for EU membership.
