Eighth Sitting of the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues
At the sitting held on 1 April, the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues discussed in principle the Bill on Employment and Unemployment Insurance and the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons.
At the sitting held on 1 April, the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues discussed in principle the Bill on Employment and Unemployment Insurance and the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Meho Omerovic, and the Bills were presented to the Committee members by representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development.
The Bill on Employment and Unemployment Insurance introduces innovations into the existing regulations regarding measures of active employment policy, individual employment plans, employment plans on the local level, as well as the National Employment Service and Employment Agencies.
The Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons is the first reform law of this kind in
After the debate, the Committee members accepted both the Bills in principle, with deputy Zlata Djeric reserving her opinion on the Bill on Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons.
